We welcome original writing from educators across Tennessee. Please review the guidelines below before submitting:
What types of writing can I submit?
Classroom reflections
Opinion or commentary
Research or best practices
Advocacy writing
Creative pieces (poetry, personal narratives)Please submit your work in .docx or .pdf format, with standard fonts and double spacing.
What format should I use when submitting?
Upload your writing via the link of the submission page
Keep formatting simple (we’ll contact you if we need edits)
Writings should aim to be 500-1,500 words in length; however, we will consider longer and shorter pieces
What is the review timeline for submissions?
Submissions are typically reviewed within 2 to 3 weeks after receipt
If selected, where will my writing be published?
Selected pieces may be featured on the TN Educator Collective platforms.
